Faruk Yağız graduated from Ankara University Science Faculty in 1955 with a M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering. He received a Ph.D. from the same university based on his studies conducted in Road Research Laboratories in the UK.

Privious Experiences

Faruk Yağız worked for the Turkish Highways Directorare's Materials and Research Dept. as Head of Laboratories and Director of Department (1955-1972). He joined to Turkish Cement Industries Corporation and worked as Head of Planning Department. Deputy General Manager, General Manager and Chairman (1972-1987). He was appointed to PETKIM Petrochemicals Holding Inc. as General Manager and Chairman where he worked between 1987-1992. He worked for DELTA Consultancy Company as founder and partner (1994-2004) which is dealing with industrial and economic studies and offset projects.

Dr. Yağız is member of the Executive Committee of SET Group Holding (cement) since 1989. He is partner and Chairman of MASTER Consultancy since 1994.
